VACANCY In An OIL & GAS PRODUCING CO

An Oil & Gas Producing Company requires a suitably qualified and experienced Professional to fill in the position of a financial controller in its Head Office in Lagos.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide an effective finance/accounting/budgeting system for the company
• Drive budget performance process
• Prepare the Financial Statements of the Company, which includes the management reports
• Prepare the Joint Venture performance reports for monthly, quarterly and annual reviews Prepare all financial documentation for submission to relevant authorities.
• Maintain good relationships with all relevant statutory agencies and ensure compliance with regulations on the operations of the company
• Ensure prompt and timely rendition of returns to relevant statutory agencies and parastatals
• Ensure appropriate procedures are in place for the smooth management of the Joint Venture activities
• Ensure the implementation of a fit for purpose accounting system for the company and the joint venture operations
• Manage the bank and treasury processes of the company and the Joint Venture operations Co-ordinate the relevant contracting processes of the company and Joint Venture operations
• Provide financial advisory services to the board of directors on the activities of the company and joint venture operations
• Manage the commercial activities of the company and joint venture operations

REQUIREMENTS
• The successful applicant will be between 35 and 45 years old: hold a degree in accounting or related subjects (advanced degrees are added advantage)
• Hold a profession accounting qualification ACA, ACCA and have a minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Must have the capability to deal with investors and partners
• Must be a team player
• Must have excellent knowledge of PC software (Internet, Outlook: Excel, Word, etc.)
• Must have good organizational and communication skills with excellent command of English in word and writing

Equipment/Customer Service Coordinator – Container Inland Services (CIS), Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria

CIS Nigeria is part of Global A.P. Moller Maersk Group having presence in more than 125 countries and engaged in activities such as Oil & Gas Exploration, Shipping, Inland Services and Logistical Support. Container Inland Services (CIS) Nigeria is involved mainly in Off Dock activities such as Import Deliveries, Stripping/Stuffing of Containers, Trucking/Shunting of Containers between Port and Off Dock, Trucking to hinterland destinations, Equipment Maintenance and Repair, Container Sales and various other CIS related activities.

CIS Nigeria is part of Nigeria Cluster encompassing three other countries of Benin, Togo and Niger. CIS Nigeria operates two independent legal entities by the name of Ibafon Container Terminal and Lilypond Container Terminal. It is seeking a motivated and results oriented person to establish a proper internal control finance function for the Cluster.
